Product Description
It is a cold-applied, moisture- and water-resistant general-purpose asphalt primer used in asphalt roofing systems and as a moisture-proofing and waterproofing layer both above and below ground level. It is specially designed for application to concrete, building, metal, and asphalt surfaces. It is also used as a primer for waterproofing membranes or liquid asphalt products.
Saybolt Furol Viscosity (at 25°C): 70-140 s
Base Bitumen Softening Point: 80-95°C
Volume Distillation Rate of Primer: 35 min (up to 225°C), 65 max (up to 316°C)
Penetration (at 25°C, 0.1 mm): 20-50
Solubility in Trichloroethylene: 99%
Water Content (by Volume): 0.5% (maximum)
