Isomax Isoproof is a bituminous emulsion coating. Isoproof is specially formulated to provide high resistance to water vapor permeability and very high long-term durability.

Uses
Isomax Isoproof is used as a general waterproofing coating on a wide range of surfaces such as concrete, bitumen, asphalt mastic, membranes, asbestos cement, brick, slate, tiles, metal surfaces, etc. It is also used as a lining for non-portable water tanks. It can be applied on its own or used with reinforcing fabric.
Usage
The installation area must be completely clean, and any damage or cracks to the insulation must be repaired.
Apply Isoproof at a rate of 1.25 kg/m² using a soft brush or broom.
Installation is facilitated by wetting before and during application. Allow the first coat to dry, then apply a second coat at the same rate of 1.25 kg/m². This coat should be applied at right angles to the first coat to provide additional reinforcement and strength to the joints.
Packaging and Storage
Available in 100 kg and 200 kg drums.
Isoproof should be stored under covered ventilation at temperatures between 5°C and 45°C. A shelf life of 12 months can be expected for improperly stored drums.
Basic
Specifications exceed the requirements of ASTM D 1227.
Health and Safety
Fire: Non-flammable when wet.
Skin: Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Remove with water when wet or use hand cleaner.
Eyes: No special precautions are required. However, if contact occurs, flush with plenty of clean water.
Cleaning
Keep tools submerged in water during use. Clean with water when wet and with cleaner when dry.
